So impressed was I with JOY’s performance and her latest dance floor filler “Rock Star For The Night: that me thinks I should tell you good people of Notting Hill and Kensal Road how fine this “tour de force” really is!! Hotter than a snakes booty in the Gobi desert, this secret bastard lovechild of Grace Jones and Kurt Cobain literally burst on to the stage and gave it to you right between the eyes! ‘I’ve always been a huge fan of Joy’s since I heard one of her former tracks “BUCCI BAG” on the terrace of Space in Ibiza a few years back. I remember a thousand hands in the air as the chorus soared.

This 6 EP package released by Prolifica Recordings, the version by Italian DJ/Producer/ master mixer RICKIE SNICE, provides a remix full of vocal effects and inspired by the modern so-called Disco house. This remix joins its deep bassline to a fusion of classic trumpets and an acid riff sound. Hands in the air are compulsory! 10/10 BRILLIANT
