Kilburn Festival 2013
Celebrating 100 years of Kilburn Grange Park

It's all systems go to organise Kilburn's biggest and best community festival. The Kilburn Festival Charity relies on a team of volunteers, artists, organisations and venues to come together and create a wonderful annual celebration.

Please come along to South Kilburn Studios on Tuesday April 16th at 7pm to help get the festival off to a strong head start. Plans for this Centenary event are already coming together but now we need 'man' power and people who are up for making it happen to step up and get involved.

This year's Festival main event is a spectacular (sunny) day in Kilburn Grange Park on Sunday 14th July, with a fringe festival of history, film, art and cultural events also tied in.

The Architecture Foundation, together with the South Kilburn Neighbourhood Trust and Practice Architecture have regenerated the site of 2a Canterbury Road in South Kilburn, London transforming this building into a series of studio spaces occupied by young businesses in the creative industries.

The tenants of South Kilburn Studios have pledged – in lieu of rent payments – to train a young person from the local area, helping them learn the skills of their profession and build a portfolio in their chosen trade.

There are 13 studios each with at least one trainee until September. We also have an ongoing series of public events including workshops and open studios to which all are welcome
