The Lost Souls of Soho

The Lost Souls of Soho

A very promising event at the Intervention Gallery this Thursday, 30th - A night of new writing inspired by the streets of Soho.

A host of characters tell their stories inspired by London’s streets of Soho. A mixture of comedy, drama, tragedy and music will unfold throughout the night in the dramatic setting of Kensal Green Cemetery.

An eclectic mix of specially commissioned monologues, all inspired by streets in Soho, will be the premiere performance at London’s newest arts space, the Intervention Gallery in Kensal Green Cemetery.

A host of London writers and actors are taking part including Trudie Goodwin, star of The Bill, and Tom Mison, co-writer of The Continuing and Lamentable Saga of the Suicide Brothers. Other contributors include Louisa Rix, Jolyon Coy, Richard Ommanney, Ziella Bryars and Charlotte Coy.

The Grade I listed Anglican Chapel, which had been left empty and in need of restoration for decades, has this year been transformed into an exciting new gallery and project space. Surrounded by a graveyard and resting on top of some of London’s oldest catacombs this new gallery is an unparalleled venue, providing great inspiration for new writing and performance.
