Cash prize up for grabs and the opportunity to spend a day at a recording studio.
“Thursday Night Live at the Priory” is a singer/songwriter competition showcasing the best in undiscovered talent and live music. The genres of music will be everything from acoustic folk to rock and R&B.
The competition starts April 7th and will include six heats over a period of three months… then the Grand Final June 30th! With a £400 cash prize up for grabs and the opportunity to spend a day at a recording studio. The standard should be appropriately high. Think open mic night with an incentive!
The competition will be organised by LIVE UK who will work closely with The Priory Tavern to achieve one of the best show cases in North West London.
Nestled just off the Kilburn High Road and one minute from the famous Abbey Road, The Priory Tavern was newly restored and re-opened during Christmas 2010, and it's now serving up cocktails and ales alongside great homemade food.
Since re-opening, it has been hosting regular live music. As an intimate venue the audience are brought up close to the bands and musicians so there’s no room for voiceover, mime or expensive post production, what you see is what you get – and what you get are competent live performers playing great music.
The competition is open to all singer/songwriters. You can pre-register to secure your spot. For full terms and conditions, call Danny Stevens on 07900 817900 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
