- KTF Haiti Benefit Gig at the Masons Arms
12.02.2010 20.00 h
Masons Arms -
The north-west London music-based fundraising group, Kensal Town Fund (KTF), has pulled out all the stops to stage a festival to quickly raise monies for the devastated community of Haiti. In just two weeks KTF, which is renowned for it’s great live events, has secured the support of over 20 superb acts, to perform at a special event at the Mason’s Arms in Kensal Green on 12th February.
The gig will celebrate the cream of local musicians, including internationally renowned talent, some guest acts from other parts of London and the fastest rapper in the world! Performers kindly giving their support on the night included the signed and the unsigned, spanning an eclectic mix of genres including funk, rock, indie, electro/pop, and blues; with support from some of the area’s most popular DJs and dancers.
KTF has been throwing the best gig nights around for the last 7 years. Previous gigs have raised monies for the 2004 tsunami, the South Asian earthquake appeal and the Burma cyclone disaster.
Entry is just £8 before 9pm, £10 after, on the door, which is pretty great value, so whether you’ve made your Haiti donation yet or not, you’re urged to come and show your support and enjoy the night.
